Meet the wonderful people who run the Connecticut YOUTH Forum
Lanham Miller is a UCONN Alumni with a B.A. in Geography and Anthropology. Upon graduation, Lanham traveled for a time and then quickly joined AmeriCorps Public Allies CT for two years before joining the Connecticut Forum in 2013 as a YOUTH Forum Program Manager. Lanham’s passion for youth development encompasses ten years of leadership program development, outdoor education and healthy living initiatives. She loves sharing her experiences and hopes to inspire others to live adventurously! Off duty, Lanham enjoys running in the woods, cuddling with her two rescue pit-bulls and cooking with her husband, Josh.
Alex Taylor earned a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Central Connecticut State University. He first became involved with the Connecticut YOUTH Forum as a volunteer at the 2011 Student Exchange Event presenting a “Real World, Real Talk” workshop focusing on his previous music adventures. With over four years of experience in training, facilitation, program and curriculum development, Alex has been a YOUTH Forum program manager since 2012. In his spare time, you will likely find him landscaping his yard or working on an assortment of home improvement or DIY projects.
