Fresh Take is a new initiative of The Connecticut Forum that highlights our compelling archival Forum footage to spark new conversations and enhance our understanding of a complex world and the people in it. 

About the pilot

The Fresh Take pilot episode is a collaboration between The Connecticut Forum and The Undefeated that explores racism in America and the fight for racial justice, told through archival clips from The Forum's 30-year history and new interviews with today's change makers.

The Fresh Take pilot is hosted by award-winning journalist and The Undefeated contributor, William C. Rhoden, and includes new interviews and archival clips from voices like Toni Morrison, Wes Moore, Gloria Steinem, Jose Antonio Vargas, Heather McGhee and Mikki Kendall.

Generations of great minds have struggled, advocated, and worked tirelessly to move the conversation forward. And today, with Fresh Take, The Connecticut Forum and The Undefeated have partnered to do just that...continue to move the conversation forward.
