Studs Terkel
An American legend in his 80's, oral historian Studs Terkel has spent over 40 years chronicling the lives of average Americans and making them into the heroes of history. Their accounts offer personal and sometimes profoundly moving accounts of what has happened in this century. Terkel is a Pulitzer Prize-winning and best-selling author with eight books to his credit; he has honed his skill for 40 years as an interviewer on his daily one-hour radio show from WFMT in Chicago.
