As a medical psychologist, Borysenko was co-founder and former director of the Mind/Body Clinic at the New England Deaconess Hospital and is now President of Mind/Body Health Sciences, Inc., providing training for healthcare professionals in the mind/body area. Dr. Borysenko calls upon medicine and psychology to recognize the pivotal role of spirituality in health. Her books include Minding the Body, Mending the Mind, and Guilt is the Teacher, Love is the Lesson.
