Skylar Ives graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a B.A. in Special Education and a concentration in diversity. Skylar’s journey with the Connecticut YOUTH Forum began in 2008 when she was a student member herself! Since then she developed a passion for learning, teaching, and serving in her surrounding communities. Outside of the classroom, her experiences in college ranged from whitewater rafting and zip-lining, to teaching English to students in the Dominican Republic. With these exciting adventures under her belt, she is ready for her roots to grow further as she continues her journey with the YOUTH Forum. During free time, Skylar is a passionate yogi, avid hiker, and crafty artist.
